Q1. Do you travel?

Yes. I regularly travel from Dubbo to Mudgee and Orange for weddings, and everywhere in between (max 1.5 hour radius). Travel is limited throughout the year, so please get in early for availablity.

Q2. Is there a travel charge?

The above prices are for weddings in Dubbo, NSW. All other locations are available and incur a travel surcharge. For weddings outside of Dubbo where overnight accommodation is not necessary (e.g. on a property or in close townships, travel is charged at $1 p/km, rounded to the nearest $5. Please contact Sarah for a specific quote to your location.) Travel to Mudgee, Orange or Parkes is a set rate of $350.

Q3. What style of music do you play?

✓ Old School Classics // e.g. Sweet Home Alabama, Brown Eyed Girl, Old Time Rock N Roll etc. ✓ Contemporary Country // e.g. Need You Now, HOLY, Wagon Wheel etc. ✓ Pop Music // e.g. Perfect, Say You Won't Let Go, Hey Ho etc. ✓ DJ style sets can be personalised to your preferred musical style but generally a mix of Pop, Country, Old School and RnB.

Q4. We're having our ceremony outdoors. Do you need power?

I have a portable system that I use for ceremonies and pre-receptions, so I don't need power at either of these locations or any assistance in setup/packup. I only require power (a double powerpoint) for reception packages.

Q5. The ceremony is in a different spot to the reception, is this ok?

No problem.

Q6. We're having a rehersal for our ceremony. Will you be there?

No, sorry. Upon arrival of your big day I'll have a quick chat to your celebrant to double check what direction you're arriving in and run through any last minute details. As I'll be playing your song live, I'll make sure it fits as best possible to how long/short the walk down the aisle is.

Q7. I have a song in mind for my ceremony, can you play it for me?

Upon booking confirmation I’ll send through a link to my online forms to fill in some details and your specific song selections, which we’ll aim to have completed 4 weeks before your big day. There’s also a list of songs currently on my repertoire that are ceremony-appropriate to help with choosing your specific songs, and of course if there’s something not on my list that you have in mind, I can generally learn these for you, provided the 4 week notice period is given.

Q8. Can I see a set list of songs you perform?

I don’t provide set lists, but my style for wedding music is a combination of old school classics, contemporary country, and modern pop ballads, while the DJ-style sets are tailored to suit your favourite songs and artists where possible. With over 15 years experience as a pub and event singer, I have literally hunderds of songs on my list!

Q9. Do you bring your own equipment?

Yes - you don't need to supply anything (except a powerpoint for reception pacakges) and a minimal 1.5m squared space. I bring my own dj lights, speakers, table, chair, extension cords etc. If the music space is a long way from a powerpoint, it's best to let me know so I can bring out the big guns for the extension lead! I also don't require any assistance in setup or packup, I've got it down to a fine art!

Q10. What deposit do you need to make a booking?

A $350 non-refundable deposit is required within 14 days to secure your date, with the balance to be paid 2 weeks before your special day. Payments are required via direct deposit.

Q11. Can you help with music selection and the timeline?

In all bookings you will receive a link to my online wedding planning pack which offers song selections on my current reportoire that are wedding appropriate, and highlights where you can choose specific songs to be played across the course of the day (e.g. bridal party entrance; first dance etc.). I can definately help you choose your special songs from my diverse range of romantic ballads, or, where possible, arrange a song you have in mind for a live performance to make it extra special. The planning pack also provides a sample reception timeline to show how the music is generally structured over the course of the evening. In the planning phase, I also encourages couples to contribute their favourite songs and artists to ensure the music best reflects your unique vision and personal style. There's a spot to do this on my online booking forms.

Q12. Do you need drinks or a meal provided?

For all reception music packages, water, soft drinks and a supplier meal is to be provided.

Q13. How far in advance can we book?

I book strictly 8 months in advance.

Q14. Can you play for a longer time period than stated?

Additional hours are charged at $175 p/hr and must be arranged and paid for in full at the time of initial booking.
